Plano, TX – GCi Technologies is excited to announce that it won design-in on Texas Instrument’s TPS68000EVM-161 module.  GCi’s P/N G064200LF  &G064199LF  are listed on the bill of material as the source for the inverter transformers. 

TPS68000EVM-161 is a fully functional DC/AC inverter module used to drive a single Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) for backlight functions.  This can be used in a wide variety of applications such as backlight power supplies for desktop monitors, LCD TVs,  or notebook computers. 

P/N G064200LF is an EFD 15 inverter transformer.  This transformer is suitable for reflow soldering and has high voltage resistance and reliability due to the multi-divisible winding construction. 

P/N G064199LF is an UI 9.8 inverter transformer whose unique U- shape supports single and dual output as well as single input, single output configurations.  It is small and low profile (5.00 mm Max) and suitable for reflow soldering. 

Both transformers are RoHS compliant and readily available for immediate delivery.
