GCi Technologies announces a new surface-mount power inductor for use with next generation low voltage, high current microprocessors. The new device is less than 5.0mm high and is capable of handling 24.2 amps dc. It is achieved by using our original winding and core shape technology. The flat top and self-leaded design is ideal for pick and place assembly. It is magnetically shielded to minimize EMI. The inductor is available in tape and reel packaging.
